FILE PREP & PROOFS
A PDF can be made from many software applications but often will not produce a bulletproof file. This is why you need to use Precision Digital; we specialize in making press ready PDFs. In fact, all of our printing plates, proofs, and films are made from our PDF files.

If you need to submit press ready PDFs and a proof to a printer or publisher you can choose from our Kodak Digital Matchprint is the ultimate true halftone dot proof or you can order our Epson Ultrachrome inkjet proofs.

FILM IMAGESETTING & LASER PHOTOPLOTS
Yes, we still image color separations for the printing industry. Maximum size is 36x44.5 inches.

You can also rely on our phototooling films to deliver the high resolution, tight tolerances and dimensional stability you need for manufacturing of nameplates, membrane switches, flex circuits and chemical milling. Using our standard 7 mil (.007) film will provide you with extra durability against kinks and will remain more dimensionally stable under varying conditions. Our .007 films are sized to within .001 over a 16x20 area or .002 over our maximum area of 36x44 inches.

Films are individually bagged and shipped flat or in tubes via UPS, FedEx or DHL. Typical turnaround is same day shipping if we receive files by noon Pacific Time. Call us for pricing details. Click here for an order form.
